Maximizing Efficiency: How to Set Up Windows Update Rings for Your Organization

Setting up Windows Update rings in Intune is a great way to manage updates and ensure your devices are secure and up to date. Here’s a step-by-step guide with screenshots:

Step 1: Sign in to Microsoft Intune

1. Open your web browser and go to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.

Step 2: Navigate to Devices

1. In the left-hand navigation pane, select Devices.

   
   

Step 3: Windows Update Rings

1. Under Devices, select Windows.

2. Under Windows, select Windows Update Rings.

   
   

Step 4: Create a New Update Ring

1. Click + Create profile.

   
   

Step 5: Configure the Update Ring

1. In the Basics tab, provide a Name and an optional Description for the update ring.
